The Straight Razor - Aluminum

The follow-up to our exploration of advanced materials. The Aluminum Razor undergoes the same remarkably careful machining program, this time using aerospace-grade aluminum.  The process creates a micro-texture over the surface, providing grip in the wet - it requires over 3 hours of machining for both scales.

The finished parts are de-tabbed, hand-polished and then anodized in a gunmetal color here in California. 

We chose a slightly more traditional blade shape for this model. We were lucky to work with the masters at Hart Steel to create a custom blade profile that flows perfectly with our handles and a traditional grind. 

Our friends at This Is Ground in Los Angeles made us a custom leather and felt carry case.
